March 2021 Newsletter

Hello!

Welcome to the March 2021 update from The Windbridge Institute, LLC, where we work to normalize, optimize, and utilize psi.

Here’s what’s new…

Seeking Volunteer Research Participants*

The Windbridge Research Center is currently seeking volunteer research participants to complete a short online survey. Please take a few moments to share your thoughts about the existence of an afterlife! Is it just fantasy and wishful thinking, or is something else going on? This study aims to understand what people think about the idea of an afterlife and why they hold those views. Participants must be over 18 years of age and currently reside in the United States (future versions of this study will be adapted for other languages and locations). Responses are anonymous. Learn more and take the survey here.

*Update March 24, 2021: This study has closed,

Save The Date:
SSE-PA Online Conference July 23-31, 2021

The Society for Scientific Exploration and the Parapsychological Association have just announced their upcoming online meeting, Connections.

“Spread out over several days, this gathering will explore alternatives to a marathon online session, with multiple short sessions over a period of 10 days. With a focus on the international nature of our societies, sessions will be hosted by different coordinators in different time zones.”

We will send updates when more information becomes available.

Best of 2020:
The Selection Effect by Herb Mertz

For the past few years, we have been selecting books, research, social media channels, movies, and other materials that we believe contribute to normalizing, optimizing, and utilizing psi. We are pleased to announce that The Selection Effect by Herb Mertz is the pick for our favorite psi book of 2020.

From the publisher:
“The Selection Effect explores a personal training process that allows consciousness to influence real-world physical events in ways that cannot be attributed to brain activity alone. Rigorously backed by data from world-class institutions, it describes findings that challenge our current thinking about consciousness, the mind, and the nature of reality. The more we come to understand the nature of our own minds, the more we can change our fundamental relationship to the world in ways beneficial to ourselves and our species.”

News From The Lab

In our last email, we told you about our Bial Foundation-funded collaboration on a new precognition study with The Institute for Love and Time (TILT). The less exciting news is that our grant project to study Psi Task Optimization was not funded. At the moment, our TILT collaboration is keeping us busy, but we hope to be able to continue work on our other projects soon. Also, as a result of COVID-19, our PA-funded KP-PK project had to be moved online. This required a substantial amount of work, but we are almost ready to go! We hope to open participant recruitment for that study in the next few weeks.

The reality is that the lack of available funding in this field slows advancements and discoveries. We’ll continue to push forward on our projects as we can. As always, thanks for being on this journey with us.

Thanks!

Thank you for your continued interest in our work!

Best,

About The Windbridge Institute, LLC

Formed in 2008, by husband and wife research team Mark Boccuzzi and Julie Beischel, PhD., The Windbridge Institute, LLC, is dedicated to conducting world-class research on phenomena currently unexplained within traditional scientific paradigms. Our main areas of study and development include Mindfulness, Synchronicity, Intuition, Creativity, and Intention.

Our goals are to 1) Normalize reports of psi functioning (precognition, telepathy, clairvoyance, and mind-matter interactions); 2) Optimize psi functioning through the use of traditional mindfulness practices, new emerging technologies, and creative expression; and 3) Utilize psi to solve real-world problems.

In July 2017, the Institute’s research on mediums and afterlife topics was moved to the Windbridge Research Center, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. To learn more about the Windbridge Research Center and to sign-up to the Center’s email list please visit www.Windbridge.org.
